Having a population of over 35,000, Braintree is known for having notable residents in its past like John Adams, Sylvanus Thayer and Thomas A. Watson. Currently, Braintree is the home of actor Mark Wahlberg, and past captain of the Boston Bruins, Don McKenney. With all of the fame and glory Braintree has, it has many attractions for you do! South Shore Plaza
The filming of the 2008 movie, Mall Cop, was done at The Braintree Mall so it has to be on your bucket list to check it out. The Shore Shore Plaza has the classic stores like Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom to Target and Forever XXI. After that long day of shopping head on over to one of their seven sit-down dining restaurants for a nice meal with your friends.
